A True Athenian Landmark

One hundred and fifteen years ago, in 1901, the first Greek mall was founded by the Lambropoulos Brothers in the corner of Stadiou and Eolou Str., leaving its indelible mark in downtown Athens ever since.

The rich history of this true Athenian landmark has been collected in an album, curated by the Lambropoulos Foundation, covering the store's history from 1901 to 1999, providing a fascinating viewpoint in the trends and fashions that shaped Athenians' lives through the 20th century.

The album was presented on Wednesday, November 30th, in a#vandoevent, hosted by the Board of Trustees of the Foundation at Zappeion.
