More than 600 Marketing and Management professionals attended a seminar in Bucharest, which was hosted by the father of marketing, Philip Kotler and organized by V+O Romania.
Professor Philip Kotler analysed the principles of the new model of Marketing 3.0, which puts emphasis on the human factor and the deeper customer satisfaction in the new era of values. Customers are treated not as mere consumers but as the complex, multi-dimensional human beings that they are. This is the reason why companies that implement the new principles have greater goals, vision and values to contribute to the world and they are able to offer solutions that address social problems.
Mr. Varvitsiotis, President of V+O stated: “It is a great honor as well as a challenge for V+O to have as a guest speaker here in Romania, the world-leading marketing guru. We will continue improving ourselves in what we do having the same passion and eagerness in order to provide services that meet contemporary corporate and brand needs and result in real customer engagement”.
Philip Kotler is the founder of modern marketing management being the Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He is the inventor of “4 Ps” of Marketing (which has now being transformed to “7 Ps”) as well as the inventor of “Social Marketing” and is involved in research & development of marketing for over 55 years. Professor Kotler is the author of ‘Marketing Management”, which is the most widely used marketing textbook in graduate schools of business around the globe and is among the Top 50 business gurus since 1998.
